My niece Arushi told me ... its results time and I have not mentioned it yet in my blog. So, here I am sitting on my dining table thinking about what to write about results. Results show how much hard work you put into the exams. Higher score is obviously better but not necessary. If you scored high, try to maintain it while widening your horizon. If you just studied in the previous year, then you should start with some sports. Some activities and some brain twisters. Academic strength is important, but so is mental and physical strength. So find out what you like and try your hands at that. In today's world it is a must to have some hobby. And I personally believe that browsing the net is not a hobby - what do you say? If you have some cool hobby idea - share them with me.
Now if you did not get a very high score in the exams, then buckle up and get ready for the next year. Set a target. Scoring is not just about studying hard and writing good exam papers. It is about observing the teacher throughout the year and seeing what she puts emphasis on. If she likes a particular topic more than the rest - high chances that it will appear in the exams. So be attentive, enjoy the learning experience and also score high! Now tell me what was the reason for low marks? Too much interneting or too much football? Cut down on activities. You have 24hours. 8 is finished off in bed (sleep is also necessary so we can do nothing about this). But you have 16 besides that. So think how you can best use the 16hours you have. Come up with a balanced schedule. Do not forget to include at least 1 hours of physical exercise, be it cleaning your room or playing basketball. And of course 1 hour of reading - non text book reading. And see how fresh and confident you will start feeling in life.
